I am super duper fantastically excited that my brand new picture book, Mr. Walker Steps Out, will be hitting the bookshelves at the end of this month! It is adorable (I can say that because I didn’t do the art—that was done by the superbly talented Christophe Jacques), and I love love love the way it turned out.

To celebrate the book’s arrival in the world, my awesome local bookstore, Children’s Book World, is hosting a “walk-by” launch party—and you can join me! Here are the details:

WHAT: A Mr. Walker Steps Out walk-by book launch!

WHEN: Tuesday, August 31st, 2:00 - 3:30 PM

WHERE: Children’s Book World (17 Haverford Station Rd., Haverford, PA 19041)

WHO: You! Come by the store where I’ll be outside signing books and generally being merry. Anyone who buys a book also gets a special treat!
